Have you checked the shift key isn't stuck down? Other than that I give up!

This is how you fix it....
Go to asda or pc world go to the keyboard section....select a lovely one...
go to till...pay ..come home plug in..

I ask, as we got ours from thailand and it went to be fixed the other day & it came back typing numbers as letters as the num lock was on ... but my num lock button was broke. So I had to take it back again. The letters were I, O, P, J, K, L, N, M and some of the full stops, comma, and actual numbers changed too!

LAPTOP KEYBOARD PROBLEM ...

Laptops have the facility to use certain keys as a "Numeric Keypad", similar to the separate keypad on a PC's keyboard. This is done by enabling the "Num Lock" which, in a laptop, will be a combination of the Function (Fn) key and one of the "F" keys - mine uses "Fn+F9" to enable the Num Lock.

The keys that are producing numbers instead of letters should actually have the numbers marked on them, probably in the same colour as the "Fn" key.

Just find the key combination to toggle "Num Lock" on/off and you'll be back to normal
