Hi all,
I have just joined you and wanted to say hello.
I became a professional nail technician in november with Creative and was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on pushing my business, I am hoping to work from home but although have been advertising in the local paper and have dropped hundreds of leaflets things are slow, slow that I currently have one client....... Many thanks for reading this and a big thank you for any ideas.
Cheers x

Hi!!!

I started a business from home and got my clients the exact same way you have tried....businesses are always slow to kick off, but keep advertising!!

Advertise yourself also by doing catchy nail art or simply having your nails done!! People will see your nails and say wow, I like your nails!!! Then hand them over a card!!

If working at home doesnt work out for you, then try afew hairdressing salons and rent a space. That way you have more exposure to the public and may also get some business from the hairdressers clients!

Hello
I saw that fixing my nails really extreme and doing really funky stuff on my nails heaps of girls would ask where did you get your nails done id say that im a nail tech and give them a card and so on word of mouth is the best trick and best way i belive :) also do a few freinds they will spread the word and so on its a link BUT make your nails a little extreme so its eye catching im not saying to hard nail art but something that will attract a womens eye trust me it works

word of mouth is always the best advertisement you can get, drop some leaflets into all the local posh shops and office blocks with discounts on them and ask the managers to put them in the staff room
