Hey everyone.

I have recently gained a qualification in Acrylics so am basically just practising as much as I can.

When I am using clear acrylic though once i've done everything (buffed, filed etc) its like you can see bubbles in there?

Is it just air trapped in the acrylic? How do I stop it doing this? Just pat it more or something when I lay it on?

Any help would be good :) thanks

Which product range are you using? It doesn't say in your profile.

It sounds as if you're either overworking the product and/or using a wetter mix ratio than needed.

I also get bubbles in my acrylic, i have noticed i get more when i use salon system profile than when i use the fusion range.

can anyone help

Bubbles form in all L&P products during the polymerisation process. (I presume you are using L&P as you only say acrylic and as all nail products are acrylic - gels and wraps too - then I'm not quite sure).

The trick is to let that process take place for a few seconds before you start to pat and press the bead into place. Take a deep breath and allow the bead to settle for a moment.

The more you pat and press and manoeuvre the product, the more likely you are to end up with bubbles particularly in zone 2 where the product is thicker. I imagine this is the area in which you are seeing them. So work efficiently with your brush and take control and you won't have to pat pat pat so much.
