I’m brand new to doing acrylic, hard gel, and polygel. I’ve done a lot of research but there’s still a few things I’m unclear about.
1. Is it okay to use any old soft gel top coat to finish off these products? I have top coats that I generally use over gel nail polish from a variety of brands, but I don‘t know if I need a specific one for nail enhancements.
2. Can I use any soft gel base coat for hard gel and polygel? IBD doesn’t seem to come with a base coat while other brands do, and most polygel comes with what looks like a normal gel polish base coat, so I’m a bit confused.
