Hi all...
As a nail technician i would love to hear your comments (advice) on gels over acrylic... i personally love Gel systems for their use and appearance BUT.... i am getting so down with their length of life.... having experimented with acrylic (out of desperation on myself) i do not have the 'lifting' problems that i embarassingly get with Gel...
Am i alone with this... I have used various gel systems but none that i am happy with... thanks for reading...
ps- i just love this site :), have been a member for ages now and love it everytime i log on - so much info and help.

Welcome to the site.

Who are you training with?

You say you have used many gels but are you using the correct type of lamp for each of the gels.

Lifting, nine times out of ten is down to problems with prep. What prep routine are you using?

I trained with Carlton Instute in Windsor back in 2007 and have used several brands.
NSI being my last brand and used their lamp and prep products. I have also purchased products from Sally's such as Star Nail (being the best so far).
I am about to launch my own business and just trying to establish a good brand i can work with.
I didnt think about the lamp being an issue so could well be that...
Any recommended Gel systems would be great to hear :)

because each different gel needs slightly different methods i think you would benefit from a conversion course when you try a new brand. you would then get the right information from an expert in that brand to set you off on the right track and have someone you could refer back to if you encounter any problems along the way.

you would be welcome to come to the free lechat playdays this weekend and try out the products with no obligation to buy.
details on my blogspot.
