Was just wondering if there are any tutorials or tips on the website about doing acrylic overlays on the natural nail, all the training I have undertaken has never shown me how to do this - ie capping etc. I tried my mums and it was a disaster  ive done a quick search of the site and cant find anything !

Thanks,

Perhaps you need to do more classes. My initial training didn't show me this either. I learned by taking further classes and continue to do so when I want to improve my skills.

When I do a Natural Nail Overlay, I put sculpting forms on the client and extend the length just enough to cap it. This prevents the natural nail from curling away from the product.

When im doing nno i do it in the same way i would apply tips. I think they are great when clients have long nails already. To cap i just run some product over the free edge.Sculpting forms are great too though.HTH
