Hi Salon Geeks

As a complete beginner i am looking into doing a 22 week nail course at my local college in Sept as i want to set up my own business eventually. The course will show me mani/pedi and enhancements (Acrylic, gel, fibreglass).

I was then planning in doing a conversion to creative and brisa or maybe bio for the gel however after reading some blogs i am now wondering if i should just do a creative foundation course.

My only concern is gaining practical experience in such a short space of time with the creative course, also does this teach mani/pedi or just enhancements?

My final questions which is the most cost effective way college and the conversion or foundation course with creative

Any feedback would be appriciated as i really confused

Creative has a superb reputation for it's training which includes ALL aspects of nail care right up to Master level. I'd take it over college training any day of the week. Their courses have produced some of the best professionals in the country and it would take more than a year to complete the courses they offer.

Why not ring 08452106060 and discuss these questions with a Creative Academy advisor? They are there to help you and are happy to send you information. Plus you are lucky enough that they are right on your doorstep!!

Hi

Thanks i called creative and they advised the foundation course is a 5 day course and then i can chose to do the brisa and mani/pedi after that.

I went for an open day at my local college and found out that the training is with creative. Its the first year they have done this but means i will be trained with all the products/ kit. They have decided partner with this year creative have the best reputation. The course takes 30 weeks so i will get lots of practical exoperience and will learn L+P, gel and mani/pedi.

Starts in Sept. I cant wait

Thanks

Great!! You will also have the added advantage of visits from a CND Ambassador on your course and you can go on with your education with CND up to Master Level as you wish.
Have fun. sounds like you got just the result you wanted.
