Advice please!

I am a qualified hairdresser, i have my NVQ level 2 & 3 i stopped hairdressing just over a year ago n have been doing care work since.....i wanna get back into hairdressing as i really miss it do u think salon owners/managers will be put off by this? How is the best way to approach salons? Any advice you can give me will be very much appreciateid xx

No, a year is not a long time, and we are aware that stylist jobs have been few and far between in that time.

Ok that makes me feel better thanks! Do you think i should walk into salons with my CV rather than post it?? I know this is what i really wanna do but my confidense has hit rock bottom im scared lol xx

Please don't be scared. The worst they can do is say no!

Glam up so you look the part and hand your CV in person, preferably to the manager or owner.
