Air brush for nails

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me where i can get an airbrush for nails. I have just qualified as a nail technician. I would just like something simple to use, for instants to do white tips.

Hi,

I dont know where you could get them from where you live, but there are plenty of places online to get them from.

I woud suggest that you do a course on airbrushing, as you will need to learn how it works and how to clean it properly. The airgun is quite a piece of work, and can easily get damaged from improper cleaning and use.

Also, I know your just qualified, but whatever you do, my opinion is dont airbrush white tips as a quick fix instead of sculpting whites. Not all clients like the airbrush french look and prefer a softer, sculpted white tip.

when getting an airbrush gun, be sure that the tip needle is fine enough for very detail work on fingernails...there is a place on ebay, cant recall the name right now, that sells complete kit for nail techs. very nice set up. you also want a good quality airbrush gun..like badger. also when buying paints make sure they are fingernail airbrush paint. a really good place to find these is at ginawallace.com (lots of nail tech learning stuff and one kit for airbrushing) the other place to look is toomuchfun.com (hope that is right) they have paints, guns, videos etc for airbrushing nails.
