Hi Guys,

I am desperately searching for a reasonably priced manicure table. I know these things are worth investing in which Im willing to do but can anyone recommend any where to get one with a light and extractor fan that is not going to break the bank. I dont mind if it is new or used as long as it does the job.

Cheers all, it really is stressing me out.

First and foremost try ebay, you can get a bargin as long as your willing to travel to pick it up. I would think that you will find one with an extractor fan but most I have seen you would have to purchase the light seperately. I picked up a bargin for two tables (no extractor) for £79.99 from ebay from a company called visage a visage I'm sure that they had a couple more substantial tables on their site for about £140 which is not bad

Hi, I got my table from Hof Beauty, its a SkinMate one. I got it at a discounted rate at £120 because it was ex display. I was a bit wary about buying an ex display one, but the original price was £210 so I had to take a risk. Its got an extractor fan, light, polish stand and wrist pad. It came in perfect condition, I was delighted! xx

I have 2 gorgeous glass and chrome computer desks from argoose! They get dusty but i'm forever cleaning anyway. It has three shelves i use for tips, pots of powder and acrylic paints, and the deep shelf the pc towel would normally stand on has my little paper bin on it. I always get comments on them. They look very smart. Lots of working space, obviously not portable though! And with them being glass I can stick the millions of wheels I use to display my nail art on the underside. Everyone can see them, and they don't touch them! I'll try and find a pic. Maybe not your thing but worth a thought.

As for a lamp, I don't really use one, but the one I have can still clamp it on the edge as its toughened glass tops, and I have a standalone dust extractor on my desk . As I said the desks have a lot of workspace so you can get away with bits like this on there without it being cluttered. hth x

Thank you all for your advice would love to hear any more suggestions people may have :)
