I am moving to Western Australia in January and am unsure of the brands over there, can anyone recommend a good strip wax and a hot wax as well?
Thanx

Hi Sarahoz,

How fantastic it is for you to be moving here to Australia!
You can pretty much get all the same products here, The internet is a wonderful tool to find what you need.
Where in Western Australia are you moving to?
Oh! and January over here is summer, so be prepared for the heat :)

Hi,
I personally like and use Caron wax. It's a great quality wax, I use the strawberry cream deluxe strip and hot wax. Both contain titanium dioxide. This strip wax is so gentle I use it on the face, u/arm and braz without any worry even with sensitive clients. The hot wax is very pliable and won't snap.

I've used it for the last couple of years without a problem and every supplier i've tried carries it so it's easy to come across. Here's their website Setting the salon standard - Caron Laboratories

Good luck!

Melissa

thanks for that, I had a look at their site and booked marked it:), at least there are a few places in WA that supply it, very handy. Thanks x

Hiya!
Goodluck with the move, WA has some of the most beautiful beaches & the weather is usually hot hot hot so I am sure you will love it there :))

I second the use of Caron Labratories, I love their waxes as well as their waxing lotions and cleansers. The only difference is I use their rose hot wax (which is pink like the strawberry wax) for anywhere sensitive in my treatments. It never snaps, is really gentle on the skin and when you heat it up it smells divine because of the rose oil :) I also use a green coloured strip wax of theirs that contains aloe vera (I have a feeling it may be called aloe vera strip wax but can't quite remember!), it goes on smoothly and I find it really gentle on the legs as well.

I hope everything goes well for you
