Anyone used 901s and a squib of 1,0 for achieving grey?

I was chatting to a stylist the other day who said she's known other stylists to have grey success at achieving a soft grey by using 901s majiblonde with a small amount of base 1 - wondered if anyone had done it?

As in the 901s will lift? Or as in as a toner?!

Whenever I've used 901s on its own it's not turned the hair grey it just tends to take off brassy tones as well as lift. You'll still have to add a toner so you get that visible grey.

Add a wee squeeze of 2.10. ;)
