Applying tint to roots first then foil over top?

I find that partial foils are quicker to put in when using the flooding technique. Maybe cosmetic colour may be a better option for scalp colouration when doing tint and packages due to it low peroxide and quick development time. X

Tried tinting first then applying bleach foils after for the first time yday and didnt like the results. Wasnt noticeable to the naked eye but if had a close up look it was patchy. Will stick to foils then tinting inbetween after x

I normally foil first then flood the colour in-between, I use a lower strength peroxide if I foil with bleach.
