Hi everyone, I was just wondering what everyones energy levels are like, I myself find I have quiet low energy (I do have health issues so I know my energy levels will be a little lower than the average). I have friends/clients who work two/three jobs and still party untill four or five in the morning all weekend and never get ill, and then people who have kids and still manage to work loads and any chance to party all night they do. I dont know about anyone else but when ive been working loads all I wasnt to do is chill with a friend/facebook/salon geek etc. Obviously when im not super busy I like to go and do other things too, not a complete bore!! But does anyone else find when they are working loads its like I realy do not have the energy to socialise much? Maby its because being mobile is very physicaly draining and you have to be happy smiley all day I dont know. Time to book a holiday I think lol xxxxxx

The most inportant thing to remember is garbage in garbage out.
My daughter is a prime example of this.
A year ago she needed 12 hours sleep, woke up tired, had no appertite and found it very hard to even come with me to walk the dog.
She moved back home and the first thing we sorted was her diet, the energy drinks stoped and the snacking changed from crisps etc to fresh fruit. Then I started geting her up in the morning and making her come with me on the dog walk.
One year later my daughter has changed her profession, she's now a personal trainer, she only needs 5 or 6 hours sleep a night, she never snacks and has one of the most physically demanding jobs I can think of, she is always on the go these days, she gets in from work, showers and flys back out again with a very busy social life or private clients that she goes running with.
It is hard to start with but every day that she forced herself to eat a breakfast she didn't want, go for a walk she felt to tired to go on and made herself do that extra miniute or turn away from that bad snack choice, gave her more energy the next day.
It is very easy to sit down and geek all evening (I do it lol) but the only way to increase your energy levels is by puting the right food into your body and then giving your body the exercise to keep it all in balance.

i work 2 jobs and hardly ever seem to be at home so when i am in i completely just die on the sofa with a glass of wine :)
i like to make sure i get 8 hours sleep a night too!!
strange though, my younger brother is a chef, works 14-16 hours a day, goes out partying after work, sleeps for 4 hours then does it all again!! i couldn't cope!

I think that is a chef thing, living on no sleep and partying like a demon. My ex was a chef and he was always out with his mates drinking and dancing. I could barely remember what he looked like between seeing him! Perhaps that's why we broke up. Hmm. Lol
