Hi geeks, ive just had L&P nails applied & am outraged at the lack of hygine,customer service & practical common sense the nail tech who applied them had.
Ive no experience with L&P,i asked for gel at the consultation i had yesterday & the lady who consulted me (who i find out latter is the receptionist)said that gels are bad they kill your nails because you have to file them off. I allways do my own nails normally,french ,nail art,ive trained at my local collage with gel & silk & love it.well me being me i foolishly let her talk me into having L&P (I have nothing against L&P if they are done right they look lovley, im just not used to them),
soo !! the nail tech askes me to take a seat & starts filing my nails to shape for tips with 180grit file ok fine then she files over the whole nail using same file (wot!!!) by the way she has'nt washed my hands,her hands or used sanitiser.ok nail tips applied im informed by my nail tech that my nail shape is going to be square (but i love sqoval!!)she then carries on with her 180grit file til its time for a bit of l&p.she applies resin to the nail then dips my nail in a pot of powder !! (to my horror this pot she has the powder in is a hair conditioner pot! now that car'nt be hygenic. shes done nail art & i paid her £51 whole english pounds for the plesure.
I know i should of complained but i didnt see the point they will still work this way,& i will have to put it down to experience.

......that has made my mind boggle.....does someone else know what that means ?????????.......you should not have been told that your having square nails....you should have ben asked......£51 you paid ...what did you have done???? xxxxxxxxx
