Balayage help please

Hi All,

I am doing a subtle balayage from a natural flat level 5 which she wants going to a warm 8/3.

Would you use a high lift with 40 vol on this, and which is best to achieve warmth?
12/89?

Or would you bleach with 10 vol and tone with pastel ?

I prefer not to use bleach with Balayage as it has a propensity to swell.

Lightning creams I have used.

I personally would use bleach and 20vol then tone as I find highlifts go very warm/brassy on anything under a 6/7

I know everyone always wants ash! It's refreshing when someone wants some gold! But yeah I feel safest with a bleach and tone x
