Balayage with micro ring extensions

Hi,

I have a client wanting a balayage effect with extensions, does anyone know if there is anyway I can do this without having to dye the extensions?

Its something I would think not - you will have the clients hair over the top of the extensions and will not be able to go high enough to the root to create the look successfully without it looking like an ombre or dip dye. Soft highlights is probably the only look you will get - perhaps another tech has had success doing it but its not something I would think personally you will be able to do.
