The organic market continues to grow and this has been reflected at the Irish Spa Awards. Consumer awareness regarding product ingredients has led to a trend towards the natural and so it's no surprise to see organic brands taking home hardware, even when they're up against more conventional brands.
Organic spa brand Voya took home two awards at The Irish Spa Awards including Best Green Spa or Beauty Salon for The Voya Seaweed Baths in County Sligo and Entrepreneur of the Year Award went to Voya's co-founder Mark Walton.
Naturally they were over the moon. "We are thrilled to be the recipients of these two very special awards," explained Walton. "Our business is inspired by the breath taking natural beauty around us and the long-standing traditions of the area we strive to bring the full power of nature in its purest forms through the Voya range," he added.
Despite taking two awards home, they had also been nominated in a further four categories taking home a commendation for its Love a Scrub in the Best Exfoliator Product Category.
The Irish Spa Awards were announced in Irish Country Magazine on November 27, 2014.
