Hi geeks,

I'm getting my extensions fitted next week, but the salon I go to have changed their policy and asked me to buy my own extensions. They advised me to order from planet hair. So anyway I'm not too put out that I have to purchase the hair myself. But now I've figured well I'm purchasing my own hair perhaps I will do some research. Sooo I was wondering what hair you geeks all prefer to use? I think I would like the hair to be double drawn, nice and thick. I have quite a lot of hair, but it sit so weighty and flat, so I get extensions for length and volume/body. One other thing I'm usually blonde, but I've just changed my colour to a dark brown, base 4. Normally I get pre bonded extensions. Will the glue show up in my dark hair? I've seen such lovely work go up in this thread, so knew this would be my best place for resources. Xx

Both fabulong, weft fitting. Dark is 180g 14", blonde 90g 14" trimmed down

Hi can I ask where you get your hair from? X

If you're asking me I use a few suppliers, euphoria and prestige for individuals, angel remy and fabulong for wefts mostly.
This is another from fabulong, absolutely in love with this ombre blend, bit expensive but worth the extra cost for the seamless blend, no more stripey ombre!
I'll get a better picture on Monday, as I fitted to another stylist after work so we didn't style

How do you find cold fusion? I don't know much about it, how does fitting time, maintenance and longevity compare to other methods? Do you think it's worth the expense of training in it xxx

Hiya! I love it, I love keratin bonds but don't like the rolling/burning fingers, wrists and everything else! Plus the fact there's no heat makes it sell itself for me. My clients like that they're getting the security if a keratin bond but without the heat.
Time wise I find I take about an hour and a half for a full head.
I use the Wonderful Hair machine though and that makes my bond for me.
Catch 22, because I paid out for Wonderful Hair brand, and I LOVE the hair, but budget wise most of my clients go for angel remy, so I seem to have paid a couple of grand just for a machine if that makes sense :/ but of a shame.
I had a play on another extensionists Loof machine last week though and must say I hated it! It felt completely naff in comparison so ill stick with my machine!
Everything else really is just like a normal fusion keratin bond. Nice and sturdy, minimal loss/shedding, but I'm sure a lot of that cones down to the supplier/tips you're using xx
