Hi!!!

Which of brand of polish do people find best for doing french polish? I am using OPI Alpine Snow but just find it a bit too runny. Could use something a little thicker to make it easier, really struggling keeping the line fresh.

Thanks guys

Tracey:)

I used to use Alpine Snow but had such a difficult time with it. I've switched to Essie's Marshmallow and am hooked. It is the BEST white polish for a french I have ever used. I also use Essie's Cherry Pop for the pink but do not pull it over the white. I do the pink first, then my white. HTH! :)

I personally love Alpine Snow. It does seem to be runny at first, but I just leave the bottle open a while or mix the new with the old and it's perfect.

Sparitual french tip for me. Definitely the best I have used for the white. The brush is thin and easy to control because of its rubberised cap.

I use Creative creme puff (white) & neglige (slightly pearlised pinky) and find the consistancy just right, not too think, not too thin. :)

Have to agree! Even though I use OPI and Sparitual Creative french stands the test of time. It goes on excellently without being too thick or too thin. And it dosnt chip and lasts ages.

I use White on White and Blushing from the China Glaze French Collection great brush & doesn't chip also there are about 5 different whites & 5 different pinks/naturals just for French so it suits all your client and really isn't expensive......

I agree... I had problems doing a french until I used Essie Marshmallow and right from word go my french was great :) It seems to soften it really nicely and the finished look just looks so natural. I use Essie Vanity Fairest for the pink. It's lovely but not pearlised.

I agree. Essie's Marshmellow or Below the Belt for the white, although I like to use Mademoiselle for the pink.
