Best lashes/starter kit

Apologies if this has been asked before, I have done a search and can't seem to find the answer, but please direct me the right way if I've missed it :wink2:

I have booked my lash training for April, the course doesn't come with a kit, which I like as it enables me to use what I want.

So....I need to but a kit, can you point me in the right direction of some good ones??

And I want good lashes - preferably silk

How many different types of lashes are there?? I know there is mink & silk, is there synthetic too??

And what curl, length and thickness is good to start off with?

I bought a starter kit from lashbase, you can choose which lashes u want. I also bought a medium box and later realised it was far too small for all the kit you gather! Gave that as a present to my niece and bought a trolley from eBay instead. It's amazing how much u collect! X
