Hi - just a quick question I'm newly qualified to Bio Sculpture and am loving it! Was just wondering if you do many Bio Sclupture Scuplutures! I've completed a few set's on friends (takes me about 3 hrs tho!) and all seemed to have problems with the sculpture popping off after about 1 or 2 weeks.

If you do this treatment, are your clients happy with them? How long (in your experience) do they last?

Sorry -that was more than one question!

Any info really really appreciated, as I'm not sure at the mo if I'm going to add this treatment to my list.

hi hun i use calgel which is similar i am pretty new to nails myself so i may not be much help but i had same problems with the sculpts at the start, i think it is prob down to poor prep! i decided not to offer sculptures as it was taking too long and the amount of gel i was using on one set was crazy so i only offer tips now, but sculpts are not very popular where i live anyway, its mainly tips that people look for, im sure with plenty of practice that you will get the hang of it hun, and another thing you have to look at is, was it something your clients did wrong that made the sculpts come off ie maybe using some household products without wearing gloves or hand creams etc i hope this helps a little bit hun and good luck xx

I was put off sculptures when one of the Bio educators applied a sculpture on me for a demo and it only lasted about a day. That was with the old sculpting gel though and I know they have a new one now that is a bit stronger.

I use tips and usually use the clear as a base, the no1 white ot the blanc white and then the clear and they are great, they last for a good 4 weeks before the client needs to return to the salon.

I don't use the Bio tips as they have wells and I prefere the ones without the wells, they look more natural and are easier to blend etc.. HTH
