I'm new to all of this and totally new to gel nail products and training. I'm all set to embark on a training course and feel drawn towards Bio Sculpture. Has anyone out there trained with Bio Sculpture? and do they come recommended as I don't want to waste 100's pounds before i've even started.

I passed my bio sculpture assessment in September and have only just managed to get round to designing my advertising cards to give to family and friends. I found the training very good and was almost like a one on one as teh tutor was very thorough with explaining things and answering my questions. It is expensive course to start out with and the gels are quite expensive but once you qualify and get more confidence in the products you can obviously charge your clients as much as you feel appropriate and hopefully you can get your money back.

I am looking forward to practicing on my family and friends before i feel confident enough to go out on the publicand charge that little bit extra. My neighbour has asked me to do her some sculpts on her nails on friday so there's my first one!!!! I would recommend Bio Sculpture but maybe some comments off more expereinced gel users would be helpful. sorry if this isnt a good reply!

i have used both bio and calgel and find cal gel much nicer to work with i am due to start the actual calgel training in feb , they have been very helpful so far

ive been doing bio-sculpture for some years now and love their products! the staff are helpful and friendly!
i did hear that calgel and bio-sculpture are the same product, bio-sculpture was owned by a married couple and they split up and one half took bio-sculpture and the other half started a new compaynt, cal-gel, but the product was the same, im not sure if this is true tho??

that is exactly what i heard also xxx

Oooh - this is interesting, I wonder how we could find out?

I did Bio training in December & really had a good time with it. I love it & altho have yet to start promoting it in the salon, my friends (who are therapists) have all got sets on & I am really pleased with how they have turned out.

Go for it, I found it expensive but I guess you get what you have paid for.

xx
