Hi All

Ok so i am very interested in offering hollywood waxing(the lot off) so i have decided to have one myself first and see how bearable or unbearable it actually is

Its for today at 1.00 and i am very scared:eek:

What should i expect? Is there anything i should worry about as in anything the therapist should not be doing?

Av got buterfly's

Hi Telfer,

The most comfortable hollywood wax (imho) is one done using hot wax, others my not agree.

Every hollywood I have done (with hot wax) has been received with comments like "wow, I thought it would be much more painful."

Yes, there is a slight discomfort whilst the wax is removed but it is very short lived and there should be no after stinging.

You will be fine hunny, take a couple of paracetamol about an hour before you go, some people swear by it.

I've had a couple of hollywoods done and I thought it was fine.
No probs at all. It is a little bit uncomfortable in a couple of places, but it goes off very quickly.

You will be fine :)

That's a shame

Why not phone around and try to find a salon that does offer hard wax, also there's nothing to stop you asking about the therapist's experience too. Can any of your friends recommend anyone?
