Bleach 20vol vs 40?

Say you have a client lv 5 and she wants to be a all over Ash 8. Would using bleach 20vol, lighting slower give a cleaner cream result than going first hand in with 30 or 40 vol. Im talking about using on mids and ends. I will not use anything higher than 20 on clients roots with bleach.
Could 20 get us there eventually with a better tone after reaplying

I would never use anything higher than 20 vol on previously coloured hair on mid lengths and ends.
But I would use 30 on clean roots.

Thanks for that. I have mostly have used 20 and I think ill stick to that.

No problem... if her hair has never been bleached or coloured before you could use 30 only once to lift.
Never bleach more than twice.
