Question 1 - I have a client who has had botox on the forehead, he read somewhere that some client may breakouts on area treated and the skin may go drier. Is there any truth in this? if yes, why?

Question 2 - If a client has botox on the forehead, can he feel the massage movements during a facial?

I've been having Botox between my eyebrows (frown lines) for a few years now. I've not noticed any difference in my skin condition or breakouts. And you can certainly feel massage! It doesn't feel different to any other part of your face. Well it shouldn't anyway if it was done properly :)

Same for me too, never had breakouts or lack of sensation. It freezes muscular movement not nerve ending. Just have to be careful for couple weeks after treatment before other treatments should be done like microderm, non surgicalface lift and the like. Hth

You can feel everything - you just can't move it.
I never had breakout - infact my skin looked better and brighter.

You can't apply pressure to the areas it's been applied to for a couple of days though so i'd check up on that.
Something about product bleeding in some clients. - I was told that by the surgeon who did mine.

facial massage should be avoided for 2 weeks following botox to avoid migration. There are no adverse effects re skin breakouts. External sensation is not altered from botox in any way. X

There is no difference to the skin texture as it works on relaxing the muscles to smooth the skin not the changing the skin itself! Hope that makes sense!
