Hi all!!

I have a brazillian wax in on Saturday and most of my clients only really have what I would class as a standard bikini wax. I done brazilian waxing at college years ago but i was just wondering what you all class as brazilian and/or any helpful tips as my confidence seems a tad low!!

Thanks in advance :)

Wow, I didn't know Brazilian waxing was taught at college. Usually it is a post-grad type training, or 'enrichment', i.e. something we learn after we have finished college and gained some expereince.

For me a Brazilian is as much of the hair off as the client wants. Technically if they have all the hair off I would call it a Hollywood, but if they want some left, I don't care how wide or narrow the strip is or if indeed it is a patch or a shape rather than a strip. I just ask them what they want and do it.

But generally it will be all the hair removed from the inner and outer labia, the crack of the bum (not that us ladies have any hair there ) and then leave whatever they want on the top so to speak.

Will you be using non strip wax for this? As this makes the whole process easier for you and much much kinder on your client.:)

Hmmm I beg to differ, this is your opinion:green:.I have found my clients prefer strip waxing when performing intimate waxing.I dont find it difficult either way,I have been using strip for years with no issues whatsoever. It's each to their own.

I think as I have said in other threads about this non strip v strip wax issue that as long as you, your client are confident, happy and you get good results then carry on with what suits you.

I always ask my client what exactly it is they want as clients/people do get mixed up with what means what.Consultations are crucial and ensure we get it right.Brazillian imo is as stated by Zoe.Hollywood is everything off.

You are very lucky to have been taught Hollywoods etc at college, when I did my training we only went as far as the knicker line(Grandma bikini wax, I used to call it)

I would just check on your insurance that you are covered as i was taught at college to take quite a bit off but still did a seperate training course for the hollywood/braz ... You need to be 100% confident when doing them if you are a little uneasy i would recc just doing a high bikini for now then going on a course as you dont want to get in a mess xxx
Practise makes perfect! XXX
