Just doing a bridal make-up course and it includes hair. I did not attend the hair course but today I was attempting to do a updo? I liked it. Do you think I can just practise to do hair? I'm good at the make-up side and found the hair brill. Would anyone give me advice on if I could ask a hair salon if they would train me?

Thanks

Debbie

train you to just do bridial hair? well i guess you could give it a try but maybe itll be best just doing a bridial/updo hair course through patrick cameron if you get a chance have a look at his work on his website or just type in google or get his books or try finding courses specialising in the area you wish to do or if your wanting to do hairdressing like cutting etc then see your local college and salons hth hun

Hey,
Thomas danby college leeds, do a avant garde special occasion/bridal hair course for £90 think it's a day or 2 my friend's done it and it's fab i can't wait to start mine.

Ask your wholesaler which coarses they run. Mine does regular hair upr courses, they cost about £100.00 a day, but would serve you and give you ideas on the long run.
You could also ask about hair extesions to give a funky touch to your hair ups..... just a thought....

Hi there

I would recommend trying to find some courses as mentioned in previous replies. Also it might be worth writing to some stylists you admire who do a lot of session work and editorial work for magazines, or looking for bridal stylists in your area to do some work experience, paid or unpaid to understand what its all about!

Have a look at our website also we have an ever growing library of online hairdressing training videos including a Session Catwalk section specifically for hair up, tips and tricks from Callam Warrington. He's worked for lots of fashion houses such as Hermes and Roland Mouret and has done amazing shoots for Vogue and Harpers Bazarr amongst others! We've got some exciting names in the pipeline for this also so keep an eye out!

Subscription is only £10 per month!!!

Best of luck!
