Hi,

I am about to book my beginners course to do L&P with CND & I had been planning on also booking the Biosculpture course (as I have worked with this before).

However, I noticed Brisa gel being mentioned and was just wondering are these 2 gels used in the same way?

I will be using Creative varnishes & if i am doing the L&P course with them I am now thinking I may as well keep everything with the same company so if Brisa can be used instead of Biosculpture i will do this

Sorry for the rambling post but until about 5 minutes ago when i read another post i didnt realise that gel is acrylic or how many different systems there are so now I cant assume anything!

Thanks

Jane

Brisa gel and Biosculpture are totally different. Brisa is a buff off gel and Bio is a soak off. They are both excellent products.

If you are training with CND it would makes sense to do the conversion to Brisa IMO and if you have a market for gels think about adding Bio later.

Brisa is a beautiful product - so is Bio - but the cost of Bio product is so outragously expensive and it is very limited in what you can do with it.

You won't go wrong using Creative's system.

I have used and trained in both. Unfortunately, I didn't really have success with Brisa on hands and found there was a product breakdown after about 3 maintenances but I did like it for toes. I didn't like the fact that it is just buff off either. I did order some white sculpting gel recently but the consistency seemed to be 'off', ie just very thick (thicker than I remembered when I used it last) but it is obviously me cause there has been no issues from anyone else on this apparently:rolleyes:.

Biosculpture has given me loads of happy clients and I love it for natural nail overlays.

I find that Creative L&P and Biosculpture Gel accommodate most of my clients but still reasearching for a better gel for my French toes.:)

Hi,

Thanks for the replies..

Okay so is Brisa like a 'normal' gel then? I know that is probably a stupid question but I have so far not trained in any 'enhancements'.. So when i say that i mean when you generally go for a full set you have 'acrylic' (l&p) or gel? So is Brisa that sort of gel?

I have worn l&p, gel & biosculpture overlays- perhaps i am best to stick with my CND L&P & Biosculpture for (soak off) gel. Then perhaps i can learn Brisa for gel nails

I hope that is correct! This site certainly opens the eyes

Jane
