Broken nail & my tech's on holiday, help!

As the title says I need some help geeks!

I have clear gellux on my nails and ive got a tear thats nearly half way across my ring finger. Ive done some home repairs before using teabags and nail glue but I havent got any glue in the house what could I do as a quick repair as I cant contact my tech till tuesday and I dont want to loose my poor nail cant add a photo cos my phone wont let me xx

Put a band aid around your nail. That will temporarily keep you from getting it caught on things. You could also use medical adhesive tape, which is generally waterproof.
