building a free edge without tips /forms advice!!!!!!!!

So............after tipping and having them all come off due to the small nail beds-re previous thread the other day, I am now going to build a free edge without tips or forms as my client is a nail biter and her nail beds are SMALL!!!

Anway, my question is from memory I recall some finger tips being quite bulbous-as most nail biters are, so when I apply the acrylic will it 'sit well' before doing zones 2 and 3 seeming as the finger skin is slightly higher than the start of the nail growth??? (I hope I have explained myself clearly enough)

its a fab tutorial by glynis and has helped me alot as im sure it has others.
i have some pics in my album of a client using this method with gel and she has really bolbous skin and it worked fab.i have also done it using l&p and i found it works great great using both products.x
