'Bumpy' skin on my face, help please!

hello there,can any lovely skin geeks offer any advice please? my skin is normally very clear but recently (has been about 2 months now) my face has been covered in these little 'bumps',my skin almost feels gritty if i run my hand across it. these little bumps don't normally develop into anything but they don't clear up either. i'm not on any medications or changed contraception (hope thats not TMI but someone once told me they had problems with their skin when they changed pills!), i have followed the same routine with my skin for around a year now,i cleanse with a vitamin E cream cleanser and a hot muslin cloth and moisturise with Simple day and night creams(sorry if this is bad but skin isn't may area). i wear Bare Escensuals make up and i'm very scrupulous about cleaning my brushes. sorry for rambling but i thought it would be best to provide as much info as possible, any advice would be much appreciated xxx
