:irked: On doing my own nails i noticed a burning feeling and my nail was hot to touch ! i think it is either my nails are a little thin after extensions, or a faulty product. However my products are the same not yet a new batch, however i did change the glue from normal to a brush on. please advise if this has happened to anyone?

Could be thin nails, do you think you might have over filed them at all?..If it was the glue they would only be sensitive/hot in a certain place I would have thought.
What products do you use chick? x

was this gel or L&P....?

If your nails are thin then they are more sensitive...working too wet (l&p) can also cause this...or if using gel then applying too thick.

i normally suffer with the same thing when i get too over excited , i over buff - they are thin to start with, and i just add to it - once i get the enhancements on, they do burn, but only tend to find this with my right hand - im right handed, so this is my worst hand (on completion) and they i do tend to either apply too thick or wet (im bone idle by this time) this is totally my own doing, and NOT from the way i was taught - i hate doing my own nails and tend to break some rules ( i adhere to all rules with clients tho) im just too impatient with my own nails, i want someone else to do my nails for me instead of ME.

I am the exact same ... by the book with my clients ... rush rush rush with my own nails.. then i end up with red marks on my nail beds and that makes me mad... but I do it over and over again... also I think nails are only ment to be done 2/52 in stead on every 4 or 5 days.... well that is how obsesed I was in the begining...
The burning should top within 24 hrs..Just a tip.... if it is over filling I find putting your hands in hot water hurts like hell... try that and then you will know if it is your filling.

Ah cheers for the info folks, i will put it down to my nails being thin, gonna leave them off for a while to build up natural defence ( hope i dont bite them as this is my bad habit mmmmmmmm) not good is it haha.

I use NSI products and never have any complaints or problems, just this one glad it was on my self.
