Business Development Consultant

I am currently training to be a business development consultant and wondered of anybody had any tips on how to expand small salon accounts without offending or looking pushy to the salon owner. I have some sales experience but need that extra confidence to sell to the smaller or struggling salons.

Any tips or advice from current business development consultants would be extremely grateful.
