Calgel Refresher Training. Help Please?

Good Morning All. I am due to go on a refresher day with Calgel in Luton next month. Now as I initially understood it from Head Office, one pays a £50 deposit to secure their place on the refresher day and only lost the deposit if one did not attend the training? If in attendance, then you were refunded your deposit or could obtain a jar of clear gel?

Am I wrong? I've just had a phone call from Calgel telling me that the monies are not refunded and have never been ! As I understood it, one is allowed 1 free refresher every 6 months.

The person who trained me on my conversion is not available for me to query this with as she is on holiday. What is your understanding please?

speak to robin im sure she is back from maternity leave. sadly chris no longer works for them any more so im not sure the best person to speak to.

It was Robyn who actually told me this plus I have seen it documented but can't quite remember where.

Robyn is well back from her maternity leave (I think her baby is about a year old now) but she is on holiday so I can't speak to her.

i did my refresher and didnt have to pay anything, i think thy know you'll end up buying something anyway !

Just bumping this up. I know I've had a couple of replies but wander if any other geeks can confirm this please.

Now I've just read a thread saying that there is a refresher course in Birmingham on the same day as mine for only £15 ???????

I did call Calgel back yesterday for more clarification but nobody really seems to be able to confirm anything. Sorry, I'm just finding it frustrating.
