Hi all

I just wondered what you used as your table and chair for clients houses. I have finally got my wee car and I am working in a salon just now but she said she cant afford my fees (due to childcare travel etc). So I have decided I will just go mobile as I can't afford a space of my own yet.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi,

Argos do a small folding table and 2 folding chairs (you need to buy them separately).

The table is small so you won't get all your products on it.

Sometimes if the client has a dinning table I use that to set my products up on and just use the table for hands - otherwise I just take it out my box as I need it.

Hope this helps you.

I have a folding stool if client does not have two chairs, and I awalys ure the clients ironing board as a nail station, it adjusts to any height, plenty space and the perfect depth its a nightmare having to lean across someones dining table, and everyone has one!
I have not come across a mobile table yet that I thought was as good as it IMO either too small or too heavy for carrying etc. hth xx

Try the camping shops for a small fold up table - about £10.00!

When I was mobile their wasn't one client that didn't have chairs or stools, I had my own folding manicure table ( felt that was my space if you know what I mean), also be careful buying camping tables check they aren't wobbly could end up with spilt liquid..xx

Thanks folks I will look into it xx

hi hun i would recommend having your own table .... it just safer incase of spillages and so your covered :) some of the campling tables and very wobbely so just try them out 1st keep an eye on ebay as they are always popping up:) x

I know a lot of people use ironing boards, but I would find them so wobbly... I'd be really worried about it falling over and spilling product all over.

I have a portable nail table which I got from ebay. It is brilliant. Comes with a back so it is easy to carry. I will admit that it is heavy but I know when I get to the clients house that I have enough room for my stuff, I am not going to be damaging her furniture if anything spills and we are both sat opposite each other at the correct height and we are both comfortable.

Do you all have an adjustable stool to go with the table? Or do you just trust clients will have a chair you can pull up?
