Can see natural nail under the tips

hi there,

I wonder whether you can all help me as i am a newly gel nail tech with EN and i am finding a problem when i stick the tips to people who have a bit of a long natural nail i can see the natural nail under the blended inn tip, is there a product that can be used so that this cant not be seen? i use the cream coloured nail tips that essentail nails provided me with.

Are you doing a tip and clear overlay on these nails or applying white gel to the free edge?

i am applying clear gel and builder for natural looking nails

In that case, to avoid seeing the natural nail underneath, you need to ask your client if they mind you reducing the length of their nails before applying the tips. Apart from that, the only way to avoid seeing the natural nail through the tips is either to use white gel on the free edge or apply enamel.
