I have to do contra -indications so here is what I understand can you please tell me if I'm off the mark

A contra- indication is a condtion that prevents treatment

3 local contra indications:

1- a stye on the eye treat ments on hands and feet are ok but not on face

2- A broken finger would stop a manicure but not a pedicure

3- A fungal nail infection would stop a manicure or pedicure on that part of the body

3 tempory contra indications

1- brusing to the area for treatment
2 - cuts to the area for treatment
3- swelling in the area
Treatment can be carried out once the problem has cleared up

General contra indications
1- warts
2- ringworm
3 fungal nail infections

now this is the bit I'm stuck on Conta actions we have never covered this and from goole I have found 2 definitions 1 is contra actions is a recaction to a treatment such as allergy to a product used. the other is a treatment carried out to a area suffering from a condition that is not a contra indication like buffing to beaus lines and I'm not sure which is right as it is not mentioned in my text book.

Your understanding of the terms are fine,
a contra action is something that may occur as a result of having a treatment,
i cant give you examples as that would be doing your work for you but if you type "contra actions" into the search tool at the top of this page it will come up with old posts that will give you more ideas hth

Thanks I now know what contra action is so my examples will be thing such as reactions to skin cream.
