Hi, I have used it a few times so I'm not sure if my experience will help you. But I'll share the little knowledge I do have; It's designed to use as one coat coverage. It's a thick polish and I found when I used 2 coats it was too thick, so I do feel it's best to use as directed, one coat. It lasted pretty well, and they do sell quick dry drops which I use otherwise it will take too long to dry. I choose Caption over Vinylux because Caption has a base coat and I feel that protects the nail. Vinylux color goes directly onto the nail plate which I found to be very drying. Hope that helps!
