I wondered if any geeks offer castor oil packs to there clients?
I have done a search on it and seems to be a subject no-one has metioned before.
Castor oil has many benefits to it and is know as wd40 for the colon.
A castor oil pack treatment would consit of soaking cotton flannels in castor oil, then covering the stomach area with infused flannels, then apply a plastic sheet over flannels, the cover with a heat pad, this will help the castor oil to absorb into the skin. leave on for 20 mins, remove then massage in excess oil with a colonic massage.
Does any-one do anything similar to this?

Does no-one do this then?

I don't know much about this particular 'therapy', but surely considering the molecular size of castor oil, any significant amount of transdermal penetration is nigh on impossible? The following study seems to suggest it doesn't:

Just read that study Martin - interesting read thanks for finding it, not too sure if it is a worthwhile treatment now, i did have it advertised around the salon for a few months but not one person booked in to have it done - so think I will leave it off the pricelist!
Thanks again
