Chair rental advice

I am renting a chair for £10 per day alongside a 70/30 split on my takings. When working out my earnings at the end of the week should the daily chair money be deducted before the percentage split is worked out or after?

I think it would be before. So for example, if you didn't earn anything that day, you would just pay your £10.

So if you make £200 in a week. You would pay your £10 per day, then do your split on the £200.
