Thinking about it everyone who has posted seems to have read between the lines - congratulations to you all. The level of knowledge and skeptic investigation really has made my day!

Just to clarify for those that aren't sure:

dihydrogen monoxide = H20 = WATER

Scarey stuff eh?

I hoped that this thread has highlighted the culture of fear that society so happily breeds. If nothing else take from this that you can't always beleive what you are told.

So come on now.... Who would have agreed to ban water?

Give things its 'chemically sounding name' (ie its real name) and people start to panic that it could be dangerous!! xx
