I Want To Start Advertising For Girls Pamper Parties But Nail Colour And Art Only. What Should I Charge? Should I Charge Per Child Or By The Hour?

I start with a basic fee (minimum) that covers a specific amount of children, and includes services such as your travel, time, set-up/clean-up, princess gift bag (bday girl), products and what not.
Then set a rate for each additional child.

I usually charge the same as I would for a mini-mani, per child.
I also charge an additional fees for goody-bags for the guests.

In addition, I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date/hours, and so that I may purchase the products needed for the goody-bags without being out of pocket.

Could you give me an idea of the prices ?

I did my first childrens pamper party on Saturday night. The children were aged between 10-12. I charged £10 per child. This included mini manicure & mini pedicure with nail painting, glitter & diamontes etc. I think you could charge much more after the first few parties.

The party went well but there were a couple of smudges & re-do's. Obviously more time consuming. I suppose you could state this would be chargeable or re-do's would depend on time left over on completion of the party?

It may be worth looking into insurance though. Most will not insure for children. I requested consent froms prior to the party. I also applied face masks as a little freebie. I made the mask using natural yog & organic honey. There are lots of other natural recipies you could use on the net.

You could also look into selling party bags to the hostess sticking in mini nail fails, stickers etc..

Hope this helps!:)

Montreal Pricing & UK pricing would be very different.
PLUS different techs work for different hourly rates, use different products so the cost there is different too....
I also put on my site that "additional fee may be applicable dependant upon the location" IF in case someone who lives say hour away?
.

Gift baskets for the princess (bday girl) vary, according to the age of the children (or young teens); as do the goody-bags those of the guests.
Although, I always include a rhinestone tiara (NOT plastic) for the Princess. The comb variety, size meant for small children or flowergirls, but also suitable for proms. You can get these on ebay for very reasonable price .

Things I include for the basket and/or goody-bag (but not all are for all ages or in both or used at every party, it depends):
- nail brush
- clear and/or pink polish
- 3D decals
- assorted acrylic rhinestones
- Buffer and/or pink nail file
- stuff that says "princess" on them such as hair clips or notebooks
- Disney princess stickers, pencils or whatnot
- Micro glitter
- mini cuticle oil
- mini hand cream
etc....
