Hi geeks, have you thought about treating your regular clients with something special for Christmas?
I gave Christmas card and money off voucher last year, but would love to do something different this year. Any ideas?

I did a lucky dip Xmas card a few years ago

Made a box of Xmas cards
Put a gift cert in each , some wear little things free hand massage after there next treatment ,
Some wear gifts so one or 2 retail things that had been on the shelf to long, and there wear one or 2 free treatments , maybe a minx toes or lux manicure ,

At the end of each treatment they got to pick there card .
Pot luck what they got :)

I really like the sound of that. Great idea!

I love the idea of a lucky dip! It sounds fun too, and who can pass up freebies :)

I'm giving Xmas card to everyone, with a £5 off voucher to use in January. Then to my real regulars I'm giving a mini solar oil :)

this year I have bought terrys choc oranges to wrap up for my clients Tesco had them on offer

lol I have had one already, need to get them wrapped before I eat the lot

Love the lucky dip idea :)

Last year I did little organza bags with shredded tissue paper with a Christmas card, tee light candle (got 50 for £1.49 in the range or hobby craft) then bought a family box of chocs an put 2 chocs in each bag with a little hand cream an foot cream that I paid a £1.00 for both (they were samples but came in a tube so I called them hand bag minis instead of samples lol)
My clients loved them, made 70 bags altogether, it cost a bit to do but everyone commented on how thoughtful they were and the Christmas tips because of them made my money back in no time :)
Not sure what to do this year, I've got 100s of organza bags an shredded tissue paper left from last year so ill probably do something similar, one of my clients makes all her Christmas presents so I may pick her brains an make something for them like bath bombs or something like that?

Xxxxx

Where did you get the samples from? I'm always looking for samples, but none of the suppliers seem to sell them.

Lena White do OPI Avojuice 30ml bottles of handcream, which work out at around £1 each with VAT. Last year I gave regular tippers an Avojuice, an OPI disposable file and a pair of OPI toe separators. The little gifts worked out to about £1.90 for each client.

Mad Beauty often advertise very reasonably priced novelty lip balms and things like that.

Poundshop have got small boxes of milk trays for a £1 got me
Excited!!

Last year I gave a mini avojuice and solar oil pinkie, this year I'm doing a mini avojuice and a mini nail envy with a couple of small chocolates for regular clients. They all seemed really appreciative of the small gift and I like to give a small amount back when they've spent a lot throughout the year.

I am thinking of giving a voucher for a free add on service to be used in January or February. (I always give small shampoos and conditioners and Solar Oil pinkies in pretty little bags.) I have to think about this some more. And quickly too!

I would love to do Fayelizzie's idea of the little organza bags but my problem is I'm not getting regular clients yet its just something I'm doing mobile in my spare time, anyone got any ideas I can do to help get clients threw the door as don't want to attract clients for wrong reasons xx

Last year Asda did small snowball gift sets including a glass, they didn't cost much, but I like the organza bag idea and lucky dip Christmas cards

Tickets are free ! They receive 1 for every treatment they have done. (Encourages them to book extra treatments ;) )

I'm still deciding on prizes. Will be deciding tomorrow. Money off vouchers, gift bags and chocs probably.

I don't think I'm going to offer free treatments as I'm mobile, so would be a bit poop going out for nothing when it will cost me in petrol too xxx

This thread has been giving me ideas.

So far i'm doing 2 x scented tealight candles (asda), a few choccys, lip balm/gloss and a £5 off voucher to be used in Jan/Feb.

Thank you all for sharing ideas! I love idea of lucky dip, it sounds great and the little goodies like small sample size products. As I am CND girl, I wouldn't want to offer any other brands, so will need to think maybe about little bottles of solar oil, scentsations and files.
Last year I got a few sample size Cuticle Eraser at the show in London and loved them. Shame there are no small size products from CND.

Love the card lucky dip & raffle ticket ideas
