Chuffed!

I don't normally blow my own trumpet, but I was soooo chuffed today and wanted to share :green:

I'm only learning Biosculpture at the moment, and have several members of extended family who are letting me practice on them in the run up to my assessment.

Today, I went to do a set of colour overlays for my cousin's girlfriend, whose nails I've done a few times now, and she said that loads of people at work had complimented her on how nice her nails looked and asked where she had them done! She also said she'd happily pay to have them done once I'm qualified as she thinks they are really good.

I know that the nails I'm doing probably aren't that good in geek terms, and I'm very critical of my own work, but I'm taking it as a good sign that the average joe thinks they look ok! Just goes to show that perhaps sometimes we can be harsher on ourselves than is merited!:lol:

Well done hunny, its nice to get the feedback when someone likes your work, take it and enjoy it.
And don't say I'm ONLY learning, your taking the first steps into learning a new career for yourself, be proud of it ..:hug:
