I have two lovely peices of costume jewellery that were fairly pricey considering.

They are looking a bit dull and in need of a clean. Any suggestions of what to use that won't tarnish them and restore the shine ? They are silver in colour .

Thank you x

I have looked on Google and they are basically saying to use silver polish but not an abrasive one.

I use a lot of silver and I use a Connoisseurs Cleaning Cloth - it comes in a red package. I have used them for years and they really do the job.

You can get them in loads of places - search around for the best price.

Ah ok Fiona thanks .

The cloth,is it impregnated with some form of chemical of just used to buff ?

It is a two part cloth - one you use to remove the tarnish and the other you use to buff to a shine. I have tried other cloths but this one IMO is the best and nicest one to use.

I have used it on sterling silver, tibetan silver and silver plate.

That's great. i'll google to find the cheapest :D thanks again x
