Client with dermatitis

I've done a quick search, but i could not find what i was looking for.

A client of mine has developed dermatitis over the past 2 years, it is on the palm of her hand.

I was wondering if a hand scrub & or paraffin wax would be a great treatment for her??

Any advise would be greatly received

I am not trained yet but I am someone with hereditary dermatitis in the family my father, myself and my son all suffer, we all have different triggers and you must be very careful, the varying degrees of dermatitis make it impossible for anyone to answer my fathers is extreme, to the point of open wounds my sons is moderate triggered by water at my parents house and my own has been clear for over a decade on my hands but is still on my feet.


I would only use her own products that she knows do not trigger her skin I often massage my son with a homemade oatmeal paste but I would not use commercial stuff on him.

I would write up a gp letter to take with her to her doctor. Tell the doctor what exactly you will be doing on her and also state what qualifications you have and also what organisations you belong to.
Atatch a tear off slip below for him to agree to.Avoid asking him for 'consent' as they cannot answer that, as it's something to do with their insurance.
By getting a letter you have this for insurance reasons and also everyone is different so you need to know about THIS client
