I am near to finishing my CND L+P CND spa manicure and pedicure, (due to do skillbuilding for brisa and sculpting on forms). I done my training in merseyside with Katie Ellison, and I would just like to say to anyone whom is thinking of doing a nail course that CND education, do it.
I can not explain the wealth of education about hands and nails you wil recieve. I have found the course enjoyable, throughly explained, they take everything staep by step (dont throw u in at deep end). Yes it might cost a bit more than other nail courses, but hey if you want the best you have to pay a bit more. (looking at bigger picture u will actually spend less)
I personally would rather pay a little bit more for a for set of nails off someone whom knows what they are doing and the reasons WHY they are doing these things rather than a nail tech who comes in and does a rush job, no prep, and yes they may be cheaper but will you be satisfied?? I live in liverpool and will be traviling to katies salon in sthelens to get mine done, they are more expensive but, I am sick of getting my nails done and having, lifting, breaks, sore nails etc, and having to pay out more in long run, so its a con really, you pay for what you get.......I think u can charge bit more if you are good at what you do, and people are more likely to return and pay more, for good service and knowledge and nails that last.
sorry to waffle guys, but I just cant believe how many nail techs are out there, whom dont even do good prep, which we all know if we have good prep then we are off to a good start.
I would highley recommend CND to anyone outhere either wanting nails, or wanting to learn how to do them. And what a credit to CND is katie ellison, such a lovely lovely person, so patient, calm and understanding, she dosent just teach how, she teaches WHY.... xxxxxx
