It is recommended that you use the chosen lamp for you system. So a CND lamp for CND products and Gelish lamp for Gelish.
This is not a marketing ploy to make you buy more, Every nail system will require a different intensity and wavelength of UV light , but not using the correct lamp for you system you put your clients at risk of overexposure to the uncured gel. This will cause service breakdown , and further on down the line can lead to allergic reaction. It will also void your insurance as you are not following manufacturers instructions for safe use.
