Colouring around extensions!

Hello!

I have a new client that has a weave in currently done by another hairdresser.

Am I still okay to colour the hair and the weave or would my insurance be invalid as I can't guarantee the hair that's been used?

Which method has been used for the weave? Your at risk of having a patchwork result on natural hair weather it's micro ring or plaited weave worse if plaited in. I would ask if she could have it removed for colour ... Match her extension and get the weave re fitted ?
That way she can't slate you if you go ahead with colouring and her realising not all of her hair was coloured correctly because of the extensions

It's plaited in. I've recommended she has it removed then I can colour like you said. Thank you [emoji3]

If you didn't see the package the extensions came in than you can't guarantee that you can color them and like she said if you can take them out and than do them that would be a better option!
